Monthly update – September at Unilite

With so much going on this month, its a good idea to give you a monthly update.

As the months go by and the nights draw in, we find ourselves edging ever closer to the start of the lighting season. With two exciting new inspection lights landing with us, a workbag collaboration with Velocity, plans being drawn up for an office expansion and two new members of staff joining the business, its set to be a busy month.

Monthly Update – 2 New Work lights Are Better Than 1

First things first is the expansion of the Unilite range with the IL-175R and IL-850R inspection lights. These are being introduced at the start of the month and we already have lots of excited pre orderers.  If you have placed a pre order for this product then it should be with you very soon.

To remind everyone of the lights, the IL-175R is a folding inspection light with 3 separate positional LEDs! This has a 175-lumen output and is a neat compact inspection light. The IL-850R is a little larger and has a ‘long necked’ design. This weighs in with an 850-lumen output and has an extremely useful 360° magnetic ball joint. Monthly Update – Rogue 4.5 Workbag

In addition to the worklights is a new workbag in collaboration with Velocity. The Rogue 4.5 looks like a fantastic piece of kit. It has solid industrial stitching, a Polypropylene waterproof base, and an additional 150 lumen rechargeable LED light. These are due to be with us mid-October. Monthly Update – Office Expansion – Phase 2

Its been almost 4 years now since we moved into our new purpose-built headquarters. We moved from our old premises as we needed much more warehouse/office space. As we settled into our new home the business continued to grow to the point where we are looking to expand again!

We have divided the expansions of our headquarters into 3 phases. Phase 1 was the increase of our car parking spaces which was completed in 2018. Phases 2, which is next, is building a recording studio and more office space. We have taken on a new videographer who will use this new space to record product unboxings and other exciting content. Phase 3 is a future project to increase the size of the warehouse and provide a staff gym and auditorium. All exciting stuff!

And Finally – The Family Is Growing

As mentioned, we have welcomed two new members of staff to the business. The first is our videographer Jack who will spend his time creating all manner of exciting visual content. Check out our social media pages and the website to see this latest content. In addition, we have a new member of the Sales team Paul. He will be covering the south of England and has a specialty in the automotive industry, where we already have a strong presence.
